Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are a great way to quickly clean up messes. The best robot vacs and mops I've tested have top-notch mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combination that has cutting-edge features take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and was able to pick up pet hair and human dander almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface that comes with a mini-map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another noteworthy feature of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
It has a variety of other smart features also, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to wash and clean the mop without requiring you to refill it manually. You can also make use of voice commands using the S8's built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile alternatives. It's part of a litany of robot vacuums with combo features that also feature mops but is priced at a cheaper price than the majority of competitors.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to begin, which includes setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've done that, the machine will begin to vacuum and mop easily.
It's worth noting that the mapping process takes a while, and it may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels that it needed to turn to free itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. robot vacuum cleaner best results in floors being cleaned and not just swept. The detachable vacuum stick is a game changer that can reach areas where a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's environment and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. And the smart app lets you modify a variety of settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging station after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins and place debris into a self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from circulating. And its battery lifespan is long enough to handle large spaces without needing a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard and carpet floors and a great obstacles-avoiding. It also has an innovative mopping technique which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without falling and staying clear of stairs. However, it had trouble with fine-grained debris and didn't always clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise is also high, and it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than others.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with the regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you control all its functions. It gives you a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuums/mowers available, and offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable accuracy. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, or modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system has intelligent carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces in order to prevent contamination.
The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free center for maintenance, automatically washing and drying the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they have to be cleaned.
6. S10
This robot is a few hundred dollars less than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my home office clean. It can also reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D model of your home, so it knows what to avoid. In addition, unlike other vacuums with mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop).
Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also alter the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
Like the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. It can also skip mopping rooms that are not dirty if you're looking to save time. If you have several types of flooring in your house and don't wish to spend additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this little robot is a good option. It offers a broad range of features, including a self-emptying dustbin as well as the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's quite quiet, and it can navigate between furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug, and its battery drains faster than other models we've tested.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it did well. It has a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in smaller spaces. It's very quiet and fast and does a great job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than the majority of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be programmed to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as 'not located', so that they won't be picked up again during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.
It does a great job of vaccuming but isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
